The business literature almost unanimously presents a simple, positive picture of the beneficent effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR) on public attitudes toward businesses. However in such economies as Vietnam, facts tell that poor
CSR governance & CSR-related conflicts cost businesses much more that CSR benefits businesses.
